Services
We offer study abroad opportunities in Italy for African students seeking to undertake bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. Aware the students from Africa, especially from English-speaking countries, have a long-standing history of seeking further education in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom, we believe that an alternative to these destinations is just what you need to weigh your future academic career options.
Most families tend to opt for English-speaking countries due to lack of exposure to the opportunities in other “Western” countries. Furthermore, having to learn a foreign language before joining universities in non-English speaking countries also poses a major if not unsurmountable hurdle.
However, most prestigious European State and Non-State Universities across Europe have opened their doors to the brightest minds from developing countries by initiating English-taught degree programmes both at undergraduate and graduate level.
As a matter of fact, governments of developed countries have recently been seeking to establish stronger commercial and political ties with Africa and attract immigrants with potential to become leaders back home or highly-skilled labour abroad.
We put our network, connections, knowledge of the European education systems and almost thirty years of experience in organising cultural and language-based student exchange programmes between Italy and Kenya at your service. We offer gateways to Single-Cycle, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programmes focusing on Medicine, Health, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Business Administration, Corporate Law and Environmental Studies, opening pathways for degrees marketable abroad and at home.
Programmes
Single-Cycle Degree programme
In Italy, a single-cycle degree program is a programme that combines a bachelor’s and master’s degree into one continuous course of study, typically lasting five or six years. These programmes are designed to prepare you for EU-regulated professions that demand high-level, specialised training, such as medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, law, and architecture.
Bachelor’s Degree Programme
Also referred to as “Laurea Triennale” in Italy, a First Cycle Degree Programme is a three-year Bachelor’s or Undergraduate Degree. This programme aims to provide a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge, scientific methods, and practical professional skills within a specific field prior to joining the job market or proceeding to the Bachelor’s degree.
Master’s Degree Programme
Locally known as “Laurea Magistrale”, in Italy a second-cycle degree is an academic qualification, equivalent to a two-year Master’s degree. It typically involves acquiring advanced knowledge for highly specialised careers or further doctoral studies.
Foundation Year
The Foundation Year Program is a preparatory course taught in Italian targeting students who want to study at an Italian university.
In particular, the Foundation Year Program is meant for those students who do not meet the 12-years-of-schooling requirement and/or other specific requirements necessary for enrolling in a university degree program in Italy.
This program is also suitable for those students who are learning Italian for the first time or want to improve their Italian language proficiency, along with expanding their knowledge of core subjects of the study area they are interested in.
